Vietnamese Saigon Sate (Grilled Pork Skewers)

1# pork shoulder or boneless sirloin - sliced very thinly (may be easier to slide if you freeze slightly)
1 TBSP sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sesame seed
1 TBSP onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Mix sugar, salt , sesame seed, onion powder and garlic powder.
Place pork in large ziploc bag. Add mixture and toss gently to coat meat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer to marinate. Thread meat on wooden skewers (soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill). Grill or broil over high heat 3-4 minutes per side. Serves 4-6.
