Place ingredient choices into pre-baked pie shell.
Separate 5 eggs.
To yolks, add 5 TBSP milk and salt and pepper to taste; whisk and set aside
Beat egg whites on high until frothy.
Gently blend the egg mixtures together and pour over prepared quiche.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Ingredient choices are limitless and amounts are not fussy, just make sure you leave room to add the quiche mixture before baking.
Here are a few possibilities:
Broccoli and 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Salmon (small can, drained) with vegetables, such as broccoli or spinach and/or cheese to taste (try Swiss or Colby with salmon)
Bacon (chopped, cooked, and drained) with 1/4 cup Swiss cheese and 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, sprinkled with parmesan
Sausage (crumbled, cooked, and drained) with broccoli and cheese of choice to taste
Spicy sausage and 1/3 cup Swiss cheese
Ham pieces with 1/3 cup cheese of choice
