Quiche Lorraine


This is a recipe from my sister, Nancy!

1-1/2 cup (6 oz.) Swiss cheese
8 slices bacon
3 eggs
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. powdered mustard

Fry bacon crisp and crumble after it cools. Put in bottom of unbaked pie shell. 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese on bacon. Add balance of cheese to the liquid to which the eggs have been beaten and added. Then add salt, pepper, and mustard.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
