Pecan Tassies

Crust:
1 bar/stick margarine
1 cup sifted flour
3 oz. cream cheese
Blend cream cheese and margarine. Add the flour in 4 parts. Pinch off dough. Roll in 1-1/4 inch balls. Place in small muffin tins. Press against sides and bottom.

Filling:
1 egg
1 TBSP butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup brown sugar
dash salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Beat egg enough to mix white and yolks. Add sugar in 3 parts, beating after each addition. Add remaining ingredients. Top each tassie with 1/2 pecan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes then at 250 degrees for 10 minutes.
